Already one could feel that the air in there was nice and comfortable compared to the cold airs of Obroa-Skai. "And yes! We have been through a lot. I swear, she looks better on the inside."
With a gesture for his guests to join him inside, the captain was once again aboard his ship! Inside, the furnishing was comfortable and colorful, not to mention the sensible temperature. Couches had plush pillows, and there was a fancy-looking bar that seemed fully stocked with everything a travelling charmer like Apollo could need. The fridge there was probably stocked too.
"What can I get you two then?" he asked as he took off his trenchcoat and moved over to the bar. "And the lady might share what is going on, hm?"

She sighs, dramatically sliding into a chair, one hand raised against her forehead.
"Truly, it's a personal matter I wouldn't wish to bother you with. But, I suppose it's impossible to get anything past two such vigilant warriors such as yourselves."
Another swoon.
"I'm from Balmorra, as I'm sure you could tell from my name. The Balmorra Tensefors are a very old and very rich family. We have a proud history of centuries of service...through passive investing and art philanthropy mainly. But all those credits, why, sometimes it quite turns heads."
She sniffs once, bringing a gloved hand up to wipe away a tear.
"I was born Labraidia Tensefor. Although my companions always called be Lab growing up. And like all noble families my parents insisted on having a second child in case an accident should ever befall me. My younger brother, Dorian...forgive me, but he's something of a cad. Although I hate to speak ill of family. I think it was hard for him growing up with no set path in life. Mother and father tried everything but he was discontent."

"When the Mandalorian wars started he disappeared completely. We were so worried that he'd been kidnapped, or worse. The family searched everywhere but there was no sign of him. She shrugs, delicately.

Not finding anyone to run after, Snowie heeded Apollo's advice, took cover, then readily followed them to safer surroundings and inside The Venus.
Although he knew Apollo was a captain, it was something else to be inside his ship for the first time. He kept looking at the furniture, the style, and everything the Zeltron had done to make the ship as appealing as its owner.

"That's a fancy order, my lady, but I'll see what I can do." The drink-request certainly did draw some attention, as it wasn't something he expected from someone who then revealed that she was an heiress to some wealthy company! Snowflake got a nod and a smile. He wouldn't disappoint!

She thanks Apollo and sips at her tea as her nerves seem to settle slightly.
"I couldn't as either of you to do something like that without at least offering to do my part. I could reach out to some connections on the planet. I think I have a cousin who went to a grammar school with the head magistrate's son. Perhaps they could find me some leads."
Lady Tensefor talks for about 30 more minutes with the both of you, clearly feeling more at ease after your offers for help (and the hard tea). But, eventually she sets her glass down (on a coaster, as any civilized person would do and politely explains she has to be going).
"Although, and forgive me for asking for such a silly trifle. Could you perhaps both escort me back to my speeder? I feel rather more safe in your company."

Snowflake was given a Blackberry-Gin Fizz, topped with some thawed berries for his enjoyment as the conversation was going on. Apollo opted for something simple himself after serving the two guests, with whiskey on the rocks.
"I believe we certainly could," he looks to Snowflake, then back to the lady. "We'll make sure you get to where you need to go safely."

The walk back to her speeder is quick and easy with no ambushing boxes or attacking Mandalorians...that is until there's a quiet 'click' and Lady Tenesfor freezes.
It seems that she has stepped on a small mine. Although it has yet to detonate, either her moving or indeed, waiting to long could lead to a rather explosive outcome. You'll have to move fast!
Make me your choice of an average with one upgrade and a setback mechanics, survival or coordination to disable the mine before it detonates. ⬟◆■.

The large, carpet-like humanoid was positively ecstatic with the drink Apollo provided. The alcohol might have helped - Apollo himself might remember Snowie's previous experience with berry-flavoured liquor in the Karaoke - but there was no doubt he had made a Gigoran happy today.
The lady's request for help was answered with an enthusiastic (maybe too enthusiastic?) nod. "We'll be happy to walk kind Lady Tenesfor back!"

Without thinking it through, the charming Zeltron dashes ahead, tackling Lady Tensefor off the mine and shielding her from the imminent explosion that would follow.
Not the first of stupid things Apollo had done (not even that day), and it wouldn't be the last.

It's extremely dramatic, the heroic tackle, the horror on Snowflake's face and then the dull explosion that blasts the area. Thankfully it had clearly been a smaller mine and nobody is injured, although Lady Tenesfor lands with little 'oomph' next to Apollo, a shocked expression on her face.
"Oh my. I think my entire life just flashed before my eyes...I should have been a better daughter."
She turns to Captain Apollo, big damn hero. "You quite saved me there, although I'm sure Mister Committee would have snatched me away if you hadn't." She smiles warmly at him before staggering to her feet.
"I...I really think I should be going now. Perhaps it has been enough excitement for one day. But I simply wouldn't be here now, if not for the two of you. We shall doubtless meet again?"

Apollo was for a moment distracted by the mine, and thought that maybe they could get some of the smort people to look at it later (if anything was left), but soon enough directs her attention back to Tensefor. "Why, of course. It's a surprisingly small galaxy, you know, and someone as interesting as you - well, I'm sure we'll meet again."
Once he gets up he offers the lady a hand up to stand, and then dusts himself off. "I do like to live a bit dangerously after all." Wink wink.

With a blown kiss to Apollo and a big smile for Snowflake she collects her keys and steps into her shuttle whose engine had indeed been kept running. The door closes with a hiss as she prepares to depart.
From behind both of you, there's the sound of running footsteps and the jingle of equipment, someone carrying a lot of something is sprinting towards you!
She makes a show of looking around.
"Well, perhaps when the time is right we can meet against under...slightly different dangerous circumstances, hmmm?"

The Committee was oblivious about what was going on between the two humans for a long while, and gladly said he'd be happy to see the Lady again.
But even an oblivious Gigoran could only be oblivious for so long, so he took a few steps back to give them some time and space before waving the Lady goodbye.
Of the mine's making, he had absolutely no clue himself. But the sound of footsteps was hard to miss. When he saw the silhouette drawing closer while holding something, he hoped it was something to eat for a while. But the jingling and clinking didn't agree with that idea, so he didn't hold his hopes up too much.

Maybe the Lady had forgotten something?

A harried looking Republic trooper with a sergeants insignia skids to a halt in front of you two, breathing hard.
"Kriff! Just missed it. Hey you two. You see anything suspicious around here? Command's been going Monkey-Lizardshit all afternoon. Someone's been moving around the base with all sorts of espionage gear, damn near lit up our scanners like a sun. They started here then went past the HQ, along the walls, even into the hanger."
She scans left and right.
"They'd have to have been carrying a lot of kit on them, probably a bunch worn and then maybe the rest in a bag or something."
Huh, sounds vaguely familiar.
"Kriff! Just missed it. Hey you two. You see anything suspicious around here? Command's been going Monkey-Lizardshit all afternoon. Then he blinks, as if he's getting all his mental Kowakian Monkey-Lizards in a row. "... Oh dear," he looks to Snowflake, "I think we've been bamboozled? No wait, I don't know if that adds up... Hmmm! Give me a moment, and I'll explain, miss sergeant!"
Apollo, eager to get brownie points with the folks he's currently working for, explains to the twi'lek how Lady Tensefor from Balmorra came over to deliver some cash to them for services rendered. How she handed some stuff over to them in a bag (Apollo couldn't remember what happened to that), and while they were walking through camp they had two strange attempts at hurting them with first the falling boxes and then a sniper-shot. Usually carrying: Heavy battle armor, riot shield (only?), commlink, belt pouch with stims, modular backpack w/ bunch of things.
