Last Stand

Right, with one of the D8 events specifically granting extra credits and at least some side missions also having given some of that, I'm feeling coordinating some credits to get the best possible equipment for the Hoper efforts might become important at some point.

What each player got is theirs to decide what to do with, of course. But with how Snowie was built, I get the feeling I might have some cash remaining, and/or others might benefit more from cash for extra equipment than him. So I'm putting this up in case we want to coordinate to lend/give money to others to meet all (or most) of our fitting needs!

Will post here after a better look at what things are looking like after rolling for the D8 event, but I imagine I might have at least some 500 credits remaining even if I get what I might want. Will update when I've thought about that better!

Honestly, I could probably spend a few thousand credits on gear and not be completely satisfied.

Mostly I'm after mods though at the moment and anyone that might be able to help me out with those.

They aren't a huge money drain at the moment, but they will get there.

We might go with a list of 'sources and drains' of sorts, maybe XD

For Snowie - hard to spend much on Brawl weapons, really, and his armour is pretty good to begin with.

Will possibly spend a bit more on mods, but that's still not a lot as I'm just using the freebies (vs rolling 1G mechanics vs upgraded difficulty XD). Other than that, the only high investment I might make is a Koromondain SVT-300 Stun Cloak (1500 creds), but I'm putting that down as a large 'maybe'.

So I'll put Snowie down as a likely source!

Currently have checks 1875 creds before the D8 event (not expecting much from there though!). So even with mods and the cloak I should have plenty of change to spare to others in the last session.

Fec looks like a likely drain, on the other hand

Zeline has basically reached top shelf for her weapon. I can't think of any medical equipment I would really need and anything armor-wise would be pretty expensive... So yeah, I think I can funnel any credits into others.

I should blow some on a few more stims, but otherwise haven't been digging enough to find useful things to buy. My armor and rifle don't have a ton of hard points to work on and the light saber is a longer term project. So there's some extra credits to throw around if folks need it.

We could pool it all together to get Snowie some cortosis.

Remaining funds need to be spent by end of D9.
I had a mighty 10 credits left over to add to a general pool.

I'll happily donate my measly funds to a better cause!

Apollo's credits are donated into the pool for those who need it/want it!

I'll pitch in 700 into the pool as well!

I'm keeping enough that I should be able to get a Koromondain Stun Cloak for Snowie if we get more money after D9. But I suspect others may have better uses for that kind of money, so if that's the case I may pitch more in later!

To be clear, is the money we've picked up is money-money and not currency for a future event? I suppose Vala could use some upgrades for her 2nd sidearm but admittedly, she had to actually hit with her first sidearm to make the second one forth anything. It should be easier now but at this point, this is just sprinkles on top of the frosted icing on a cupcake.

Zeph and I each got something with ours so it's probably good for others to go for it first. That is if we can combine it. The event Says Personal pool of Credits, so it might be individual purchases. Best to check with the Nicha if we have yet to.

Sure, but my track record on re-using PCs is pretty sparse.

Ah, there's another break before the final boss. So it just needs to be spent on stuff before the next session break
