D5LE - Dianoga Eater (EVENT)

Dianoga Eater
Participants: Four
A piece of intel regarding a factory has drawn the attention of Resistance intelligence. The Mandalorians have repurposed it for constructing more parts for their terrifying war machines. Analysis suggests that while a focused military strike might destroy the base, the cost in lives and material would be too great. However, a stealth team might be able to subtly sabotage the base. This would have wide-reaching effects on the Mandalorian military, as defective parts are used throughout the theater…
In order to complete this sneaking mission, players must move from one section of the factory to the next. This is done by successfully completing 4 rolls at each location using the allowed skills. Each roll is at Hard (◆◆◆) difficulty.
Players may roll in any order they wish. However, a player may not roll again until every other player has rolled at least as many times as them.
Instead of rolling, players may assist. There is no maximum number of assists a roll can receive.
If players have spent four actions in a location, a Mandalorian Patroller will enter the area. After one more action, he will begin scouting the area. This upgrades the difficulty and adds a setback to every roll. A player may eliminate the Patroller by using their action to make a successful Stealth, Ranged: Light, Brawl, or Melee at Hard with 2 Setback (◆◆◆■■); this does not suffer the Patroller penalty. If one of the combat skills is used, treat it as a combat roll using one of the weapons you have. Begin counting another four actions for a patroller after this.
Advantage and Disadvantage transfer as Boost or Setback to the next roll at a rate of 2 to 1, as usual. Despair will Upgrade the Difficulty of the next roll. Triumph can either Upgrade the next roll, or allow any skill to be used; please narrate how this is achieved.
SPECIAL: For one roll this mission, a player may ignore the Mandalorian Patroller penalty by hiding in a box.
SPECIAL: Additionally, as part of their action for one roll this mission, a player may make a secured comm call to a PC not in the event. This PC can be used to assist for the roll.
If the players have not succeeded after 21 actions, or if a roll is failed with Threat or Despair while a Mandalorian Patroller is present…
MISSION FAILED
…
