Last Stand

While the outer limits of the hushed forest are merely eerie, the deep forest is truly dangerous. Wild creatures, some of formidable size, roam the forest's heart. The uncanny silence is particularly noticeable, making it very easy for a predator to ambush its prey.

Still, the deep forest poses a sizable bounty both in lumber, hunting and the odd exotic ingredient.

Rules note: Characters may forage for supplies (primarily food) in the Deep Forest. Those wishing to do so may make an average survival roll with one difficulty upgrade. ⬟◆. Success means you have brought back enough food to help feed your fellow Hopers. Failure means the prey got away. A despair means you should contact the GMs and hope you are armed or a fast runner.
