"PREPARE FOR DANGER!" A red-haired human woman with a haughty expression addresses the vidscreen, posing dramatically. Apollo will recognize her as a woman from the archives he used to be involved with.

"AND MAKE IT... STRANGER!" The vidscreen refocuses on a slender Pantoran man. Apollo had a thing with him when he was an architect.

Both of them stepped into view.

"To save the world from the Mando scourge!" She said, smirking.

"To have some fun when we feel the urge!" He said, matching it.

"To strike our foes without pause!"

"Every day, we advance our cause!"

"Jasmine!" The woman's eyes glinted fiercely.

"Chase!" The man grinned whitely.

"Chaos squad, incoming!" They said together, posing.

... there was a brief pause.

Jasmine leaned forward. "Look, just come meet us at the old tower on the ridge two kilometers east of here, okay?"

"We'll call you! Bring Apollo, and come alooooone!" Chase said.

Jasmine straightened, frowning. "Well, alone except for Apollo." They looked at each other.

The feed turned off.

"Pretty sure that message isn't meant for us." Terreck mused, his eyes moving towards the Zeltron for a moment. They weren't kids in the video but they didn't seem quite sane either.

"I do wonder who it was meant for." He finished as we walked over to have a look at the fur.

Apollo clasped his face with both his hands. "Oh maaah gaaawd. Two exes at once, teaming up against innocent me???"

Seeing no other way to calm his nerves, he picked out a flask from his trenchcoat and gulped down its contents... then offered to share the flask. For Vala it was the unmistakeable aroma of Corellian whiskey. Top shelf stuff.

"Do you think they'll try to kill me if I come alone?"

Vala was ready to raise her hand and immediately reject the offer for alcohol, it really seemed like Apollo could use all of it. That said, she did find it a smidge amusing, considering that it did turn out to be connected to him. She wasn't surprised in the slightest. However, on the realization that it was Corellian whiskey, that's something she couldn't turn down for at least a sip. This was stuff she didn't even get many opportunities to have back home.

She would take a modest sip from the flask and pass it back to Apollo. "I'm not so sure...I'm going to guess that if they wanted you dead, they would have done it easily already. There are enough opportunities to sneak up on you and land a blaster shot from far away, especially if they are so good at getting in and our without being detected. This motive seems more like they want to do something with you, probably something very horrible. You might even realize the error of your ways."

"It also said, 'Come alone but bring Apollo." So seems like they expect someone to escort you there?" Maybe whoever was eating the fruit? Continuing his investigation of the fur fir a few moew moments, he would then move towards the fruit bowl.
