Re: Just your average hometown blind sniper gal (Tomin Q&A)

Did you find yourself embracing the meme of being without eyeballs? Definitely! Adjusting the wording a bit or adding some quotemarks to all those perception-with-eyeballs verbs. It was interesting, and since the canon is kind of fuzzy on what, exactly, they're perceiving, I could kind of fid...

Re: Agent of Big Stim (Zeline Q&A)

The druggie doc was a lot of fun to read. All the better living through chemistry! Despite lack of time for posting, did she pretty much come together and work as you'd hoped? I recall looking at one of the Medic specs for the cut off Mando game that I never got started in because it overlapped a di...

I think the questions I'd wanted to ask have already been asked, but wanted to say it was good fighting with you...well alongside you. :)

Re: Pure as the driven snow (Snowflake Q&A)

<3 Snowflake! Really enjoyed bouncing off the other locals in the cast. I'm enjoying getting peeks at Snowy's background in our threads, and honored to have my half-baked idea of a Jedi get to play mentor. So much fur! And aww...saw in his medal presentation that he'll have a chance to go back to Gi...

Zaaap! is a good old-fashioned one, right? Enjoyed fighting with Vala and seeing the very different gun build. Much better suited to swashbuckling space hijinks with the blazing pair of pistols Given your skill with building flavorful events with several moving parts, did you have a fave among the o...

Re: The Worst Smuggler You Ever Heard Of ("But you have heard of me")

Just reading the medal bit and I'm all Whaaat!? this is his home planet?! Not that I expect him to stay, since it's pretty boring most of the time. As everyone's said, Apollo was fantastic for highlighting non-combat assistance in combat scenes and just the right touch of comedy to keep all the figh...

Re: Zephrin Hayn, Jedi Knight (Q&A)

I really appreciated having another Miralukan in the game to bounce a bit of those cultural things off of, having that be another Jedi was a bonus for interaction. It was also kind of neat to see the very different directions things went off of that starting point. Thanks for, as always, being aweso...

Re: modding, I really liked the houserule for one automatically successful modding roll (paid for normally) during downtime. That worked well and makes a reasonable bit of upgrading achievable without needing a mechanics-heavy character. Same! It was definitely nice to know I could do a little of t...

Re: Just your average hometown blind sniper gal (Tomin Q&A)

Blind Jedi sniper doesn't sound like it should work but you knocked it out of the park! I really enjoyed our scenes together and thought we made a good Jedi team. The build seemed to come together nicely and only having Soak 3 didn't seem to cause any headaches in the fights. What did you like most...

Re: Just your average hometown blind sniper gal (Tomin Q&A)

Did she end up more or less as expected? Or did Tomin evolve a bit in the telling? I appreciated the scenes with Uffob and Master Saubet to ground her a bit more in her Jedi-ness, which I hadn't gotten a strong grasp on going in. Zephrin provided a great running example as well. So I did slowly fee...

Re: The Bird, the Legend (Hatoful GM)

For my part, it was mostly rp and individual plots that had to drop. Bevin was part of that. Vala, Apollo, and you all had stuff that got cut. When you tried to call your family, I got the idea of tying them in to the refugee caravan that I knew would be coming later. Alas, rl. Please assume that t...

Re: D12 - Medalsome Heroes (Open- Fluff All Day)

*snip family reunion!* She ducks her head in a bit of embarrassment at spacing out like that; an emotion very quickly replaced by relieved shock, joy, and a boisterous amount of group hugging. In a moment, everyone's talking at once about what's damaged and not, the twins are running over one anoth...

Re: (D9, EM) The Brrrr Part of Waking Up

Quietly, Tomin says, "I don't have the experience to be sure what's going on there, but looking away? That's not going to work...almost ever. And I've got a real head start on not seeing things, if I want to." There's a *shuuuf-shiff* sort of noise of thermalwear sliding on stone, before the soft th...

Just your average hometown blind sniper gal (Tomin Q&A)

These feel a bit less necessary with all the character creation chatter on Discord. But if there's any questions, fire away!

This was not my best game for getting in solid rp, but the fights and events allowed 'some' interactions at least. Really enjoyed seeing all the other characters at work.

Re: Combat Tracking And Other Duties - Nicha

I really appreciated the variety of combat (even if my contribution was mostly the rather one-trick rifle-to-the-face pony this time around). Kept things interesting and there were enough of them to definitely give me plenty to learn from. Very much appreciated you GM voice throughout the descriptio...

*hugs* Thanks for all the effort of building the game, the time and energy that you could offer during the game, and the calm assurance that let me not be an anxiety-ball getting into combats here. ^^ RL doesn't schedule around the games (unfortunate, or we could stave it off for a really long time ...

Re: D12 - Medalsome Heroes (Open- Fluff All Day)

Tomin wasn't sure what Jedi did with medals and the like. If the ranch was still there, likely she'd let her folks display it somewhere, with her siblings' ribbons from the annual fair and the like. It still seemed odd to get one, as someone just fighting to keep her homeworld safe. Probably somethi...

Re: D12 - The Happily Ever After Party (Open- Fluff All Day)

Tomin definitely joins the party. A little stiff in spots, and with her throat still healing, she moves a not-entirely random route that lets her pick up food and drift by familiar places to see how they'd fared, following her ears to tally up the bands that she could now add to the 'still here' tal...

Re: D11 End This Blasted War (Open - 4 players, high-risk combat)

Tomin 'stared' at the basking Zeltron for a moment, then chuckled. He'd helped free her home, cheers were the least he, and the rest, deserved. She coughed, gingerly, While stowing her seldom-used lightsaber. Then she caught the tremor of the walker and Zephrin's gesture at the same time, and spent ...

Re: D11 End This Blasted War (Open - 4 players, high-risk combat)

Before the knight can retrieve his weapon, Tomin turns back to that clump of the battle, feeling a calm wash over her. She drops the rifle as she rises...it was a prize of this war and was somehow easier to let go of. In the two measured steps it takes to close once more, her lightsaber is in her ha...
